A Collective Noun of Kates.

It is cool- we have broadband! This has been a long time coming, and of course, it took someone else to organise it.
Hopefully, this means that I will blog more regularly- so stay tuned. Uploading photos will be a lot easier as well- so it should be more interesting.
Anyway, here's a photo of my Kates.

The Grand Prix

Well, today I'm kinda at the Grand Prix against my will. Allow me to explain.
I work at 608 St Kilda Rd on the 9th floor. I can see the Albert Park track from here, but more to the point, I can hear it. It was vaguely cool for the first half an hour, but is now incredibly irritating at 2:30 pm. I've been here since 9 and finish at 5.
I was late to work because there were so many people catching the trams. I found it difficult not to resent them.
Every now and then I hear an ambulance siren. That can't be good.
Melbourne has a lot to answer for...

Been awhile...

It's been awhile. That's not because I've gone into a deep depression and am apathetic about everything, but because I have been uber-busy. This is a good thing!
Ok, so I got some work, and then I got a promotion within 3 days. I'm working at a Financial Management company as an Insurance Assistant. This means that I check through applications for things like life and income insurance; send off said application to insurance company; send letters to clients, and the like. Busy learning how it all works. I'm doing that job for around 3 1/2 days per week. Plus I'm teaching about 12 hours per week.

Also, my lovely mother gave me her car, so I'm now the proud owner of a Mitsubishi Lancer. Kate 'Little Brown' Gross was kind enough to drive it up from Hobart and bring it over on the boat last Saturday. I had 3 Kates in the house. Suggestions for collective nouns were as follow:
a Friend of Kates
an Awesome of Kates (suggested by one of the Kates)
a Tassie of Kates
I have since thought of: a Confusion of Kates.

That is why they are addressed as follows:
Kate Gross: Little Brown
Kate Boughton: Big Red
Kate Donnelly: Poo (didn't want to be Big Black or Big Brown- we came to an agreement)

Anyway, life is hectic, but fun. I love sitting on the tram and thinking. Was so tired yesterday I missed my stop, though.
